Every great story begins with a dream. For Sarah Rufino, that dream was born in childhood, watching her mother, a make-up artist, and falling in love with the world of beauty. What started as play turned into purpose, and today it’s the profession that transforms lives.

A resident of Tabajaras, Sarah is the entrepreneur behind @sarahmakeup_, where she uses make-up to enhance beauty, boost self-esteem and help every client feel even more confident.

Her journey has been marked by challenges. After investing in her training, she faced the pandemic, had to expand her skills with courses in hairstyling, braiding and eyebrow design, and in 2023, after losing her job at a beauty salon, she decided to fully commit to her dream. Since then, she has been living off her own business and continues building a career based on dedication, talent and perseverance.

At Projeto Hub, Sarah found an environment of learning, connections and development. Inspired by the stories of other entrepreneurs who grew with the project’s support, she believes that knowledge, the exchange of experiences and a stronger network of contacts are essential to taking her business even further.
