The history of Lenart Costura Criativa is a true family story. The business was born in 2015, when Deborah’s parents became unemployed and found in craftsmanship a way to generate income. Producing creative pieces with repurposed fabrics, they walked the streets of Quintino Bocaiúva selling their products door-to-door.With the increase in orders, the whole family began to participate in the business.
It was at this moment that Deborah and Mailson discovered their passion for creative sewing and for transforming fabrics into unique pieces. In 2024, faced with the difficulties encountered by the founders to maintain the business, the couple decided to take an even more active role, investing in new products, management organization, participation in fairs, financial planning, and training.
Even while balancing Lenart with other professions—Deborah works as an administrative assistant and Mailson works in the technology field—they continue to dedicate time and energy to strengthening the company and expanding its horizons.
The dream now is to make Lenart grow, win new customers, expand its presence on social media, and take its products to other states and even other countries.
“The Hub Project has been an opportunity to expand our vision of management, innovation, and the market. We want to strengthen Lenart, develop new skills, and prepare the business to grow sustainably, without losing its family essence and commitment to reusing materials.”
With creativity, teamwork, and purpose, Deborah and Mailson show that great businesses can also be born from family unity, transforming sustainability, talent, and affection into products full of meaning.
