Lohana Poveda began her professional journey as a nursing technician, but it was through entrepreneurship in the beauty sector that she discovered the value of autonomy and flexibility. She realised early on that she didn’t want to be tied to rigid schedules or give up her personal freedom.

That’s when she discovered podology — a field that brought together her technical knowledge and her desire to care for people in a broader, more specialised way. The passion was immediate: “I wanted to go beyond being a nursing technician,” says Lohana, who now dedicates herself to podology care with professionalism and individual attention.

“I joined the project because I needed clarity, guidance, and mentors to help me with everything that lies ahead as an entrepreneur.”

Lohana’s goal is to consolidate her work as a podologist and prepare for the next steps of her business with strategic vision and confidence. Alongside other women in the Hub, she is building a path of sustainable growth, grounded in purpose and care.
